The 2024 SAX-ZIM BOG WILD Calendar highlights the Sax-Zim Bog’s amazing wildlife and scenery. Nearly 90 photos by the area’s top wildlife photographers grace the pages of the 12-month calendar. 8.5 x 11 inches on high quality glossy paper.
Photos include Great Gray Owls, Northern Hawk Owl, Timber Wolf, Ermine running with a vole in its mouth, Moose, Black-backed Woodpecker, first Sax-Zim Bog record of Eurasian Tree Sparrow, Red Fox, Fisher with prey, American Goshawk, and even a “Coywolf”!

THE PHOTOGHRAPHY
Amazingly, all of the images in this calendar were taken since the last calendar came out in October of 2022, and all the photos were taken in the Sax-Zim Bog. Photos are chosen from those posted to the Friends of Sax-Zim Bog Facebook Group and Page, as well as those on Instagram with the hashtag #saxzimbog. We look for unique and high quality photos that show interesting behavior, rarely seen plants and animals, and seasonally-appropriate subjects.
