There are a number of properties in the area that are utilized during the season in the Sax-Zim Bog. The Friends of Sax-Zim Bog have acquired a number of properties keeping in mind our mission “to preserve and protect the Sax-Zim Bog through land preservation, education, research and communication.”
To date, FOSZB has been able to acquire 4,206 acres, through donations of land, support from our “Bog Buddies,” and donations to our Acres for Owls Land Fund. Our properties feature impressive biodiversity and give the opportunity for all folks to get in the bog. Click a link below to learn more about each of our properties.
