Acres for Owls is the Friends of Sax-Zim Bog Land Preservation Project. Donations designated for “Acres for Owls” will go directly to bog land purchase within the Sax-Zim Bog. Bog costs roughly $500 to $1500 per acre in this area. We have already purchased and saved 4,206 acres of pristine Black Spruce and Tamarack bog for future generations of birds and birders….and more is in the works!
