Mid October can be a great time to visit the Sax-Zim Bog…Tamaracks are in their final golden glory, sparrows are abundant, hawk are migrating, Gray Jays are active, and you may even get lucky and find an owl or two. Guide, photographer, and Friend of Sax-Zim Bog member, Erik Bruhnke, spent the day up in Sax-Zim recently. Here is the autumn bog through the “eye of Erik.”
